Animal Research Facilities use a narrow spectrum wavelength at 630nm in red. This helps keep the animals comfortable and diminishes stress during the simulated “night” habitat. Lighting is a critical factor in both circadian rhythms and breeding cycles in nocturnal animals. Here at LC Doane, we offer a Red/White combination for these spectrally-sensitive applications. Made from aluminum and stainless steel, these tightly sealed fixtures prevent contaminants from getting into the housing while being jet spray washdown worthy and offering an efficient lighting solution.
